Maine International Trade Center’s Trade Day 2020, May 14 – 15, in Bangor, Maine, is seeking Maine companies, startups, and industries to take part in its New Product Global Showcase and Innovation Pavilion.

This annual event—with over 300 attendees including Maine business professionals, investors, government officials, R&D groups, representatives from foreign trade and consular offices, and media—provides excellent exposure for entrepreneurial, innovative companies.

The New Product Global Showcase is open to all Maine companies and industries. It aims to help businesses launch new products to a new audience and also provides media exposure. The deadline for applications is March 10th, and to be eligible, the product or service:

– must have been launched within the past two years (May 2018 – May 2020)

– must have commercial viability and currently be in the market

– will be evaluated on international market appeal as well as innovation.

This is a juried process, and participation is limited. Benefits of being selected for this year’s New Product Global Showcase include social media promotion, professional video footage, an opportunity to make valuable connections, and two complimentary tickets to Trade Day 2020.

The Innovation Pavilion is an interactive, dynamic environment where businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs can share their vision, research, and prototype product development with event attendees, presenters, and sponsors. The Innovation Pavilion (IP) will have its own branded area during Trade Day 2020 on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15.
