Biobased Maine to Speak at Forum
Biobased Maine will speak during the morning panel of E2TEch + GrowSmart Maine’s Combined Event, New Forest Economy Forum on March 24 in Hallowell, ME. Join us that day to discuss the future of Maine’s forest economy and how biobased manufacturing aligns with the vision for a sustainable forest industry. Click here to register for the event.
A few weeks ago, Biobased Maine exhibited at the Advanced Bioeconomy Leadership Conference in Washington DC, alongside the University of Maine’s Forest Bioproducts Research Institute and other stakeholders from Maine, including Stored Solar, Maine & Co., and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development. Numerous products from Biobased Maine member companies were displayed, including products from Grow-Tech, Revolution Research, Beachstone, GlobEcoMaine (DuraFresh), Sappi, among others. Biobased Maine’s Executive Directors, Charlotte Mace, was present at the booth and made new contacts and developed leads to help grow Maine’s emerging biobased manufacturing sector. If you would like your business represented at national and international conferences, join Biobased Maine today.
Our next conference will be Bio-Based Live Europe, May 31 and June 1 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Contact Biobased Maine today to learn more and see how you can get involved.
Biobased Maine has a newly-designed exhibit that enumerates the assets that Maine has to attract biobased manufacturing investment to Maine. We gathered photos and products from all over the state, from Easport to South Portland, to show off what our state has to offer.
