Oct 23: Gutter Oil for China

“Gutter oil” is waste cooking oil that can be converted in biofuels. In Beijing, Boeing is sponsoring the China-US Aviation Biofuel Pilot Project, using technology to convert gutter oil into jet fuel. It is estimated that 1.8 billion litres of biofuel could be made annually from used cooking oil in China.
